In 1968 the breed Large White was imported from England, France and Sweden and the breed Landrace was imported from England, France, Sweden, Germany and Austria. With these breeds twelve lines were formed so as to avoid problems with inbreeding and a genetic program was set up. Then the breed Duroc was introduced from America. Then we signed an agreement with the society PER ARLAM, a company founded by the French ITP, to develop in Spain the Sire Line. Dam Line, we specially keep selecting the breeds Large White and Landrace to offer the market a F-1 which fulfills perfectly the requirements demanded. Sire Line, is a Hybrid, formed from three breeds, that due to successive crossings have produced a fixed breed having 1/3 of each of the following:
